Brazil constitutes one-third of the international coffee market and has been the largest producer for more than 150 years. Coffee came to Brazil from French Guiana in 1727 while Brazil was under Portuguese rule. Premium Los Compas single-origin Brazilian coffees are roasted medium to dark, are low in acidity, full-bodied and sweet, and with strong chocolatey and nutty flavors.
